The dental office of Stephen Kleiman has been a proud part of the Laurel community for over 20 years. We always welcome new patients to our family.

Dr. Stephen Kleiman received his bachelor's degree from Washington University in St. Louis and his professional degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. He completed an anesthesiology residency at the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and has been practicing dentistry for over 30 years. His professional accomplishments include obtaining Fellowship status in the Academy of General Dentistry, Fellowship status in the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and Diplomate status in the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He also maintains active membership in the American Dental Association, the Maryland State Dental Association, and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He strives to maintain an ever-increasing level of competency and quality with over 2000 hours of continuing education courses to stay current in the field. His conservative approach to dentistry provides his patients with a strong level of trust and comfort in his care.

Payment for services is due at the time of treatment. If you have insurance coverage for a planned procedure which we are able to verify, we ask that you pay your part, as close as we can estimate it to be. We accept cash, approved personal check, Visa, MasterCard, and money orders. Payment plans can also usually be arranged through Care Credit.

We always try to get the maximum insurance benefit from your insurance plan to which you are entitled. We can obtain pre-treatment approval for certain procedures, if the insurance company recommends it. However, in the end, we provide dental services to patients, not insurance companies. The patient (or parent) is ultimately responsible for all charges. Remember that no insurance plan covers every charge and every procedure.

All appointment times are valuable to the patient and doctor. When you fail to show up for an appointment, we just stand around idly, doing nothing. Any supplies prepared for you which cannot be reused, are discarded. And other patients who wanted to come in at that time, are prevented from being seen. If you must cancel, we ask that you contact us at least 2 full business days in advance. Failure to do this will incur a cancellation fee.
